Saturday, June 2, 2001 was a very rainy day. Before
we could JUMP from this airplane, we did go
through some very "intense" training.
Then we went to lunch with the trainers.
Tracy even made a NEW friend with one of the locals!
Then we waited to see if the rain would clear up so we could JUMP!
and we waited and waited…. for the rain to stop.
Even the Jump Masters waited with us.
SO WE WERE READY, BUT BAD WEATHER PREVAILED!
As the hours wore on, the weather did break but not enough. The cloud ceiling was only at 4,000 feet and we needed to jump from 13,500-14,000 feet. We called it a day around 3:00 pm, fully trained, but with NO WHERE TO GO!
